" I really love denim but am also a newbie in the raw denim world. It all started when I was in college and started to regularly use jeans as my combat pants. Later, I realized that the colors of the jeans were fading and evolving.
When I graduated and worked in Bali, I began to remember and learn the characteristics of jeans, from there I found out about raw denim. At first I thought that raw denim fit was very old fashioned because it was generally looser and felt loose on my feet. Then I thought about designing my own raw denim. Research helps me get lots of ideas about details.
Inspired by Japanese denim and with my love for Indonesia, I chose Gatotkaca as my raw denim article. Gatotkaca is the son of the couple Bima and arimbi who is very strong and tough. It had the iron-wire muscle tagline which I later wanted to show off in an unsanforized 18oz pant. This article uses strong materials and is suitable for daily activities. This is my first unsanforize denim and I'm ready to go on an adventure with it.
